PRESIDENTIAL CONTEST. New York, June 6. A Renter's message states that the Chicago Dispatch says that Mr. Hughes is momentarily favorite for the Republican Presidential nomination. Mr. Roosevelt, however, is a dominating influence and is expected to dictate the platform and have & deciding voice in selecting the candidate.
