THE ADVANCE CONTINUES. GENERAL SMUTS' REPORT. Received June 1, 5.5 p.m London, May 31. General Smuts reports that the Pangani river column reached the south e*d of the Pare mountains on May 29, and located the enemy near Nicheni. They were strongly entrenched on a narr»w neck between the river and the mountains.
