SALUTARY PENALTIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Yesterday. The Fairlie buglary cases were concluded at the Supreme Court this morning, when the jury returned a t'edict of guilty. Prisoners were not defended. His Honor sentenced Martin Brady (37 years), to seven years' penal servitude, and declared him an habitual criminal. Cecil Stanley Barker' (38 years), received two years' penal servitude.
