BRISBANE WOOL EMBARGO. By Cable.—Press Association —Copyright Sydney, May 31. The embargo on the Brisbane wool sales has been modified, permitting the export of merino wool to Japan. BANK OF NEAV SOUTH WALES. Sydney, May 30. At the half-yearly' meeting 'of the Bank of New South Wales a dividend of 10 per cent, was declared. A special meeting decided to increase the capital of the bank from three and a-half to four millions, by the creation of 25,000 new £2O shares, issued pro rata to present shareholders on June 1.
