TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
I*l Record entries have been received for the aibove show to be held on next Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of next week. There are no less than 250 entries more than last year, and ever available inch of space has been applied for, so that the show should he a record one in every respect, The Space Committee went to allotment last evening, and finally arranged the ground plan of the hall. The local Red Cross Society have a 20ft space, and intend to make a good display oi> goods in aid of their cause | There will be district courts, farm exhibits, and a Native exhibit, as well as numerous trade exhibits, and as the hall is laid out fo reflect, the Show should be the most attractive held by the society. The Citizens' Band will be in attendance each evening, which should be an additional attraction. The Show will be opened by the Hon. W. D. MsDonald on Wednesday, June t, at 2.30 p.m. So as to facilitate the work of the stewards, exhibitors are requested to deliver their exhibits at the hall on Tuesday, June 6. {
