\\ ' —- — VICTORY AT DARFUR. 'A COMPLETE ROUT. 1 London, May 30. Official: Further reports ecmlirm the completeness of the victory over Ali Dinar, Sultan of Darfur. A!! the Sultan's best troops and commanders participated, and most of the latter were accounted for or surrendered. The disarmament of th* tribesmen is proceeding satisfacterily. Several thousand rifles and luucli ammuaition have 'been surrendered. Our aeroplanes, the day after tiie battle, bombed a large body fleeing from Fashir with Ali Dinar. The latter, when last seen, had only 300 followers, and •was facing a 36 hours' journey over a waterless desert, going towards Gebel Marra.
