A!! the Sultan's best troops and commanders participated, and most of the latter were accounted for or surrendered. The disarmament of th* tribesmen is proceeding satisfacterily. Several thousand rifles and luucli ammuaition have 'been surrendered. Our aeroplanes, the day after tiie battle, bombed a large body fleeing from Fashir with Ali Dinar. The latter, when last seen, had only 300 followers, and •was facing a 36 hours' journey over a waterless desert, going towards Gebel Marra.
