THE DERBY,. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received May 31j 8.15 p.m. Tendon, May 30. The Derby meeting at Epsom proved a quiet meeting, the usual public features being conspicuously a'bsent. There i was a small attendance. Ten horses started, Kwangsu being i favorite, and lie looked a sure winner \ until two hundred yards from the post, j when Fefnella came up on the rails and i won, after an exciting finish, by a neck, : in the last few strides. A head separat- ! Ed the second and third horses. 1 The King's horse, Friar Marcus, won ' the Chesterfield Handicap from Vanite ■ 2, and Queen of the Seas 3. AUSTRALIAN RACING.
