LONDON WOOL SALES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, May 29. The fifth series of wool sales will he limited to 100,0110 hales, of which ffll.OOO have arrived. The sixth series is fixed for September 5. The limit, if any, will be fixed later. Subsequent sales will be held as frequently as required during the season. English buyers are gratified at Australia's prohibition of export outside the Empire. RESTRICTION ON EXPORT. Sydney, May 20. Mr. Tudor has announced that the wool sokl at this Aveeks' Brisbane sales will not be allowed to be exported outside the Empire. COMPLAINTS OR BROKERS. Brisbane, May 30. A sensation has been caused in wool broking circles by the prohibition of export of the wool at the Brisbane sales. The secretary of the Wool Brokers' Association states that if the embargo is not lifted it will be useless to sell.'
