STATE MEDICAL SERVICE. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, May 20. Addressing the Balmain Labor League . Dr. Stopford suggested the 'establishment of a State medical service. He said the private practitioner had a pecuniary interest in disease, which inexorably compelled him to welcome sickness and protract the treatment.
