<m STATEMENT BY MR. MASSEY, (By Telegraph.—Special to Daily News.) Auckland, Last Nij>t. At the opening of Messrs. Fletcher's new freezing works, the buildings of which alone cost £70,000, and which are forming the third big freezing works at Otahuhu, Mr Massey said: "I wish to warn you cheese-makers that if the war lasts till the spring ail cheese will be commandeered, but 1 hope at a fair price.. At the banquet that followed, covers were laid, for 020 guests, amongst ihose invited being Mr. H. ,T. Okey, M.P., while the- Taranaki Farmers' Freezing Co. was represented by Mr. W. E. Wright, of Rahotu, one of .he directors'
