New Zealand Dental Association conference adopted a resolution fuvßring the instituting of a diploma in dentistry iu this country of a slightly lower standard than the present Bachelor of Dental Science degree. A defence fund for members of the Association was also established. The following- office-bearers were elected for the coming year: President, Captain M. K. Denniston (Wellingt6n); vice-president and president elect, Mr. P." Washbouru (Timaru); chairman of executive, Mr. J. N. Rishworth (Auckland); lion, treasurer, Mr. R. Reylmrn (Auckland); honorary secretary, Mr. C. H. Moses (Auckland). * TARANAKI WINTER SHOW. Intending exhibitors are reminded that entries for the above show close with the secretary to-day.
