Roberts (sale of flowers), 10s; Lincoln Road School committee, 255; surplus farewcll'social, £1 12s; vest, 2s 6d; social, 3s; parsley, 3d. Donations: ilesdames S. Death, Egarr, Douch, T. E Wilson, and Terry, Misses Stott and Cooney, 2s 6d each; Mesdames Stimp- , son, J. Brown, F. Bilski and Mr. Olson !>h each; Mrs ( A. Marshall and Mr. J. A. Harrison, 10s each; Mrs. Bond and Misses Hodges (2), 2s each; M. Lawson, Is; Mr. Wilfred Marshall, 20s; Red Cross receipts, £5 12s ljd, motor 20s. Miss Roseveare has tendered her resignation as infant mistress of the school, and was last week given a farewell at the Presbyterian Manse. Miss Posevearc has been very successful since her appointment at the school, and is very popular with the children. She bas accepted a position under the Otago Board. The monthly medal competition was held oh the local golf links on Thursday last. The play was not of a very liigh standard, although the weather was good. The best cards returned were: F. Brown and J. Sutherland 87, and' Maetzig and Johnston 88, and in the play-off J. Sutherland won from F. Brown, 75—91.
