Miss Roseveare has tendered her resignation as infant mistress of the school, and was last week given a farewell at the Presbyterian Manse. Miss Posevearc has been very successful since her appointment at the school, and is very popular with the children. She bas accepted a position under the Otago Board. The monthly medal competition was held oh the local golf links on Thursday last. The play was not of a very liigh standard, although the weather was good. The best cards returned were: F. Brown and J. Sutherland 87, and' Maetzig and Johnston 88, and in the play-off J. Sutherland won from F. Brown, 75—91.
