TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
There seems to be more interest cenHod in this year's fixture than'on any ! revious occasion, the reason being probably rn account of thd greatly increased membership, which should be the means of also greatly increasing the entries. The entries do not close until next Saturday, 27th inst., but they poured in all last week. The splendid prizes offered will no doubt be a great attraction, and (jnyone who has not procured this year's schedule should do so at once.
The Gas Company's specials in the cooking classes arc inviting, and will give those who use gas stoves an opportunity of showing what can be done by gas. Excellent prize money is also offered in the fancy work classes, and should attract a good deal of attention. .Ml the other classes are well provided for, and make up a very attractive schedule.
The poultry section is well catered for, and is attracting large entries, a number of which are from outside the district. Entries close on Saturday, Nav 27.
