TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
Preparations are being made to ensure the coming fixture being the most successful held under the auspices of the Society. A splendid design has been prepared for the laying out of the hall and annexes, provision being made to bring all'the root crops into the main hall and place all exhibits on tables, which will have raised cetrcs. A band stand will be placed in the centre of the main building, and a first-class programme of music will be rendered every evening of the show, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. The acceptances for the field acreage competitions are also good. General entries close on Saturday, 27th inst., but it will facilitate the work of the office, and will be much appreciated by the secretary, if intending exhibitors will forward their entries before'that date.
