Mr. mid Jlrs.P. J. Gane, of Normanby, have received news informing them that their third son, Captain Frauds Egmont (jane, had been reported killed in action 'on May 14th. He was attached to the Forty-third Battalion and had recently been given command of his lompany. He was only thirty-one years of age, was born in Normanby, and was the first child to be christened in the Anglican Churcji there. The Dental Sen-ice attached to the N.Z.E.F. on active service has now been thoroughly organised. The officers are distributed as follows:—Captain A. L. Logan and Captain J. B. Don, with No. 1 Stationary Hospital! Captain R. A. Dearsley and Captain D B. Green, No. 2 Field Ambulance; Captain E. P. Pridham, Stationary Hospital; Captain E. H. Rawson, General Hospital; Captain D. M. Beere, Infantry Base Depot; Captain W, McKenzie, Infantry Ba3o" Depot; Captain L. H. Potton, in reserve at General Base; Captain ,). S. Fai<child, Mounted Field Ambulance.
