w. A RUSSIAN SUBMARINE. SINKS THREE GERMAN SHIPS. Received May 1!), 5.5 p.m. Stockholm, May IS. A submarine, believed to be Russian, shelled the German steamer Kollga for twenty minutes, off Landsorp Island, on the 16th inat. She then torpedoed and sank her. Two of the crew were injured, and the captain and three men are missing. The German steamer Bianca was shelled, torpedoed, and sunk at the same spot ■an hour later. The captain was taken prisoner, and the remainder of the crew were rescued.

A Russian submarine torpedoed the German steamer Hera near Landsorp on the same day. The crew were sared. Copenhagen, May 18. Some reports attribute the torpedoors to be British submarines. BRITISH GOLD LOST. London, May ,18. The Batavier carried £70,000 in gold.
