At Burnside 170 fat cattle were penned, and prices were very firm at the rates ruling a fortnight ago: Best bullocks £lO to £l7, extra prime, to £l9-ss, medium £l4 10s to £ls 10s, best cows and heifers £l2 5s to £l4 ss, extra prime to £l6 12s od, medium £8 10s to £lO 10s, others £5- 15s to £B. Fat sheep: Best wethers 30s to 345, extra prime to 30s fld, medium to good 25s to 28s fid, light and unfinished 20s to 23s Od, best ewes 27s to 31s, extra prime to 37 6d, medium to good 203 to 24s 6d, others 14s fid to 17s 6d. Fat lambs: Competition was keen at last week's rates. A small pen of extra prime realised 50s 3d, best 10s to 255, medium 10s Od to 18s Od. There was, a small yarding of fat pigs, and the competition was very good. Best baconers 105 a, medium to good. 75s to 85s, best porkers 70s, medium 00s, slips 23s 6d to 28s, suckers 15s to 17s fid.
