OHAKUNE FATALITY.
A CORRECTED iREPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. According to advice received to-day by the Minister of Public Works the report previously received that No 3 tunnel had been charged and was being sealed when the explosion occurred was incorrect. Mellsopp (assistant engineer) and Davis (overseer) were superintending the charging of the tunnel A'hen the explosion occurred. The two men who were injured were outside the tunnel, and after the explosion one of them lighted a candle and went into the tunnel. He was affected by gas, however, and had to come out. Both men were taken to the hospital.
