Newspapers emphasise that Mr. Billing went astray in his charges, as correspondence that is published Shows that Mr. Billing was invited to attend the inquiry on Thursday, But refused because it was a non-expert committee. MR. BILLING SNUBBED. Received May 17, 9.15 p.m. London, May 16. Mr. Periberton Billmtr, M.P., states that he has not received an invitation to attend the Bailhache commission. He asks What guarantee he would have if he appeared before the commission that Tiis charges and corroboration would not Ik heard in camera. THE FLYING CORPS INQUIRY. ' London, May 16. At the inquiry into the administration of the Flying Corps, Mr. Justice Bailhache, Chairman of the commission, invited accusers to attend, but no one responded, and the inquiry was adjourned.
