FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, IPresent indications are for moderate to strong south-easterly to . northeasterly winds northward of Cook Strait, and freshening easterly to northerly winds elsewhere. Expect cool and fair to cloudy weather generally, but dull and overcast at times in the extreme north and south. The barometer is unsteady, and will probably fall everywhere after 24 hours for a disturbance that is likely to pass in the south at the end of the week.
