PREFERENCE FOR OUR FIGHTING MEN.

(To the Editor.) ■Sir,--May we suggest, furough your paper, that all public libraries in your district should grant honorary membership to every returned soldier, as a token of appreciation of their services to the Empire in this great struggle for freedom and right, the privilege to be extended until 1920; and in towns where there are no Soldiers' Clubs, that a writing table be placed for their special use. We feel certain that the above privilege would be highly appreciated by our gallant lads.—l am, etc. F.NORRI6, Hon, Organiser, National Service League, Masterton.
