THE WILLOCHRA.
TROOPS QUARANTINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. This morning all the troops on the jWilloehra were transferred to Quarantine Island, the patients previous accommodated there being placed elsewhere. The master and erew remain on the ship, which is anchored in the stream. It is understood that the suspected case of smallpox is an Otago infantryman, whose next-of-kin reside at Carterton. The proposal to use Quail Island has 'been abandoned. ANOTHER SMALLPOX CASE. Wellington, Last Night, The Minister for Public Health advises to-night that another case of smallpox has developed on the Willochra, and the patient has been removed. to 'Qunrantine Island. This makes the third case renorted on the vessel. Mr. Russell states that he understands that all the men have been revacciuated. The general health of the troops is good, and their Relatives are being advised in all cases of the men's condition.
