\O | ROBBERY AaD ATTEMPTED MURDER. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Received May 12, 8.55 p.m. ' Sydney, May 12. Masterton Charles Scoring, a New Zealander, who recently arrived here, was charged with attempting to shoot a police sergeant. Evidence was given that the police received information that two Chinamen's huts had been burgled and £2O stolen. The police proceeded to La Perouse and met accused, who was cycling. When stopped, he produced a revolver and aimed point blank, timately the chamber contained a blank cartridge, but' the others were fully loaded. Scoring was remanded.
