NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. At Waiwakaiho on Saturday J. 'Paton and R. T. McQuade, who tied in the St. Andrew's Cross match on the previous iircliiy, played off, and the latter »..n, (lie scores being:—R. T. McQuade, Hi.l-1.-)—!H); J. Paton, 10(1—1-2-04. , To-morrow afternoon the New Plymouth Ladies' Club will hold i bogey match for prize presented by Mrs Johns. Players must arrange their own opponents. Members are reminded that there will be an election, for new members. The following players will compete in any matches on the handicaps mentioned below:—Miss Avery 40, Mrs. Bain 40, Miss Furlong 30, Mrs. J. C. Nicholson 19, Miss Peart 40, Mrs, Bartley 40.
A mixed foursomes (flag) will be played at Waiwakaiho on Thursday, and a four-ball bogie on Saturday. Arrangements have been made for matches, open to any golfers, to lie played at -Waiwakaiho on King's Birthday, June 3. A match will be played in the morning and another in the afternoon. the entrance fees for all dajy (ss) to be devoted to one of the patriotic funds. Mr. A. S. Hasell has kindly given a prize for the best aggregate, while prices -will also be given for the individual matches.
WITIORA CLUB. On Thursday a medal match will be played at Witiora, and on Saturday a bogie match.
