SUPREME COURT

NEW PLYMOUTH SESSION'S. NO CRIMINAL CASKS. A session of the Supreme Court wilt be. opened at the New Plymouth Courthouse at eleven o'clock to-morrow mousing, when His Honor, Mr. Justice Kdi wards will preside. There are no criminal eases, and the civil business is of a light nature. Four civil actions are set down for hearing, hut three of them have been adjourned from time to time, and it ismnlikely they will be heard on this occasion. The other action is one in which Henare Hautoro Kawa and others (>lr. IX Hutclien), proceeds against John Cameron (Mr. C. R, Stead), claiming for possession of certain land held by Cameron and for mesne damages £25. There is one divorce case, Death (Mr. Crump), v. Death. There are two appeals agaimit the Magistrate's decision, as follows: Raniera Ivaretia (Mr. D. Hutehen), v. C. E. Street (Mr. J. C. Nicholson); anil Charles Bowden (Mr. H. H. Billing), v. Margaret Box (Mr. J. N. Quilliam). There are also a number of Chamber matters to be dealt with.
