PRICE OF SUGAR.
PROBABLY NO RISE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Nigb*. Referring to the sugar question in the' House to-day, Mr. Massey said that * great proportion of thfe scarcity of sugar was due to people Inlying up supplies, as they were afraid that the price would ■be increased nt the end of June. He njould communicate to the House, information that he had just received, to the effect that the price would not ba raised at the end of June, and he hoped later to be able to announce that it. would not be raised at all.
