MASONIC CONFERENCE.
QUESTION OF WAR RELIEF. By Telegraph.—Press' Association. Auckland, May 11. The Masonic Grand Lodge discussed what names should be placed on the roll of honor, and resolved that only the names of those who have been on active service should appear. Mr. H. J. Williams (Wellington) moved that there should be no conference next year, and that the money thereby saved should be devoted to the War Relief Fund. After a lengthy discussion the resolution was withdrawn, on the suggestion of the Grand Master, Mr. Williams remarking that the discussion had served his purpose hy stimulating interest in war relief. The next conference will be held at Invercargill.
