TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
Interest is growing in tTie coming Winter .Sluw, the seventh in the history of the Society, which will be held in •the Coronation Hall on .Tune 7, 8, 9, and 10 Kntries are coming in well, and hid fair to exceed those of any previous year?. Applications for space have been much heavier than ever before. The Space Committee has therefore been obliged to utilise every .available foot of floor space to satisfy the demands of prospective exhibitors. As has been previously noted, butter and cheese classes are far in advance of the previous best record, there being 32 butter entries and 06 cheese. Applications from proprietors of milking machines have been very good, so thnt visitors may rely on seeing the very latest and best in the milking machine world. Xext week preparations will he commenced, with a view to arranging for the staging of exhibits. Poultry classes are specially good this year, and will attract, there is no doubt, large entries. The North Island Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Association have allotted championships in the following classes forpigcons: Working Homers, Magpies, Tumblers, Owls, Turbits, and Dragoons. Exhibitors are requested to note .that general entries will close on Saturday, May 27, at fl p.m., with the secretary. . Schedules and any further information will be readily supplied on application to the office by teffiohone or letter.
