Some remarkably interesting signs of tlic times in respect of the employment of women exist in Auckland. One of the leading newspapers there has all its eligible men on its literary staff serving at the front or in camp, and the paper employs women reporters on its stafF to do ordinary journalistic work formerly performed by men.
