THE SUSSEX. FURTHER NOTES ' GERMANY ADMITS HER CRIME. / Amsterdam, May 10. A serm-otn'cial German Note abandons the view that the Sussex was not torpedoed. The Government has notified America that she admits the German submarine was blamcable. Washington, May 10. A new Note is en route from Berlin in connection with the Sussex outrage, explaining that the affair was due to the negligence of a submarine commander, promising duo punishment, and offering reparation. GONE BACK TO PORT. GERMAN DESTROYER DAMAGED. Received May 11, 10.30 p.m. Amsterdam, May 11. The Telegraaf states that a German destroyer has : returned to Zeebrugge, having been severely damaged in, the action with the British on April 5, her funnels and mast being shot away. ENEMY TRANSPORT SUNK. (Received May 11, 9.50 p.m. Rome, May 11. A French submarine, in the lower ! Adriatic, sank an enemy transport that was laden with raw material. ANOTHER QUIET REQUEST. Received May 11, 9.50 p.m. Washington, May 11. IPresid«nt Wilson has asked Mr. Page to report on the loss of the Cymric.
