FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Present indications arc for east to south-easterly gales, with stormy weather and heavy rain, and rivers rising in the north and East Coast districts, with snow on the higher levels, and probably colder. The barometer is unsteady, and falling again shortly in the south.
