ON THE SEA.
THE NORTH SEA FLEET. SOME SHIPS MAY OOME SOUTH. TO WATCH FOR RAIDERS. Received May 10, 9.40 p.m. London, May !). Mr. Balfour, in a letter on the subject of the East Coast bombardments, points out that the maritime position lias so improved that instead of keeping the battle fleet in the north, as strategy in the earlier stages of the war required, it is now possible to bring important forces south, reinforced by submarines and monitors, without imperilling the preponderance elsewhere. Hence another Norfolk raid will be far more perilous to the enemy than those in the past. OVER THE NORTH SEA. A FLEET OF ZEPPELINS.
