Of the forefrning, however, three are temporarily unlit, while four do not coma up fo the standard required- under the medical test.
17th KKINFORCEMEXTS. The Seventeenth Roinorcements will go into camp on Monday, M/y 2!l. Only infantry will bo required froin the Taranaki group, which includes Taumarunui and Oliaknne districts, the number allocated being 123. If anyone wishes to get away with this draft tliere would be little use in their registering for any other branch of the service. Twelve men from this group, No. 8, left for camp yesterday morning to make up shortages in the 15th and 10th Reinforcements in other districts. The men from Taranaki are A. Pcnson (Ho-wcra), H W. Pitt (Fitzroy), and C. P. Lealand (New Plymouth). The other nine recruits went from the Main Trunk line.
