RUSSIA'S TASK.
ADVANCE ON BAGDAD. Received May 8, 9.10 p.m. Petrograd, May 8. A communique reports: We are gradually advancing on Bagdad. ' In capturing the Turkish stores when we occupied Trebizond we captured twenty large guns, sixty-three ammunition waggons, ordnance supply trains, and other material of great importance.
