At the New Plymouth Club's Waiwakaiho links on Saturday afternoon a St. Andrew's Cross match combined with the first round of an eclectic match was decided. The best scores handed in were as follow: J. Paton 05 1-2—83 U. T. McGonagle 98 1.1—83 F. S. Johns !I4 ~>—SO A Bewley 94 5—S9 The ec-lcctic match will be finished next Saturday. , As tlie committee has had considerable trouble with boys wandering over the links looking for balls, they ask parents to warn their bovs against this.
