SAILED. Newcastle, May 4.—Rakanoa, for New Zealand. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa yesterday morning brought 249 tons of general cargo, including 64 tons of sugar, 66 tons of cement, and 17 tons of manure. THE POHERUA. The Poherua arrived at 7 a.m. yesterday from Greymouth, and discharged 530 tons of coal. She sailed late at night for Onehunga. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond got away at 3.30 a.m. ' yesterday for Wellington, taking over 2000 boxes of butter. The Union Company has received ad■vice that the Rosamond loads at the Bluff next Friday for New Plymouth. THE CARNEGIE. The Christcluirch Sun says the surveying yacht Carnegie is expected to Bail from Lyttelton dn May 10th (next Wednesday) for Pago Pago (Samoa), Guam (Ladrone Islands),. Dutch Harbor (Alaska), San Diego (California), thence on to Easter Island, and, via the Panama Canal, to New York. Captain Ault hopes to arrive there about the early part of May, next year. WAVERLEY'S NEW TRADE. The coastal steamer Waverley, which has had her holdß insulated and a general overhaul to adapt her to her new running between Patea and Wellington, left Wellington on Thursday on her initial trip for the Patea Farmers' Cooperative Freezing Company. Captain Fisk, late of the Aorere, is master of the Waverley; Mr. O. Brown, is mate, and Mr. W. Morrison, late of the Aorere, is engineer.
