1 S NAILING IMAGES. j A PROFESSORS' PROTEST, I Amsterdam, April 27. Professor Pazaurek, a well-known figure in Stuttgart, protests against the > nailing of images in Germany, such as I that of General Hindenburg in Berlin, Admiral Tirpitz at Wilhelmshaven, Captain Mullei at Emden, Captain Weddigen and his ship at Kiel. Tin; doors of town halls and churches have been hammered with memorial hails in countless places in the shape of huge iron crosses. General Hindenburg's statue in Eerlin contains four tons of iron. j Professor Pazaurek protests against the disfigurement of public gardens and squares. |
