(from uur Own Correspondent.) Inglewood, Friday.
The following arc leaving for camp on • Monday:—Messrs N. G. Sutherland, A. H. Henwood, and Bridgcman, L. F. ißroadmore, A. Card, T. H. Taylor, T. »A. Hopkinson, S. Hounsell and F. .T. •Kggleton. Ideal weather prevailed for the Easter holidays. Several local goiter* journeyed to New Plymouth for the tournament, but no prizes found their way to Inglewood, although all players report a most enjoyable outing. Other local sports found their way to Feilding, arid in most cases report having just a dividend.
A welcome social to the Rev. Richard* was held in the Methodist Churcli ojn .Wednesday evening, and was largely attended. Mr. 'Jamicson, senior steward, occupied the chair. During the evening addresses were given by the Rev. Iraland (Presbyterian minister), Captain llollaway (Salvation Army), Mr. 3. 'Reeve, representing the Sunday -school; 'Mr. Dennett, on behalf of the trusteei; and Mr. M. Sutherland, on behalf of the choir. Songs were contributed by Messrs M. and L. Sutherland, and at the conclusion of the formal part of the gathering an adjournment was mad« to the schoolroom, where supper was ser»e4 by the ladies. ■.; ) _
