ANNUAL REPORT. The annual meeting of the Taranaki Rugby Union is to be held at Stratford to-night. So far, this end, very little interest is being taken in football, .very few of the clubs having as yet held theii 1 annual meetings. Each club can report heavy loss of membership owing to enlistment, footballers having responded nobly to the call and each year sees further enlistments. The receipts totalled £330 143 lid (club subscriptions £l6 5s 6d, N.Z.R.U. grant for school £B, c'ub match gates £55 Is (id, representative match gates £176 4s (id, voluntary subscriptions from cluds £SB, Wanganui Education Board £5, intertest on investment, Bayly Scholarship, £ll ss). Expenditure totalled £327 2s 8d (last year's liabilities £SB 0s fld, club matches £27 6s, representative matches £lO 10s Bd, Wanganui trip £2O, Auckland trip £SO 19s 0(1, bonus £2l, N.Z.R.U. £l3 4s, Bayly Scholarship £l6, private hospital account, Tamu, £8 15s 6d, printing, etc., £7). Liabilities totalled £6O 3s 5d (including £2O to New Plymouth Sports Ground Committee). Assets totalled £26 As 3d, leaving a debit balance of £33 14s 2d..
