The British Times correspondent at Pekin says that the new temporary Cabinet will take over the* administration from" the Palace, carrying on until a definite programme, involving the convention of Parliament and the appointment of a, constitutional Cabinet, has been arranged between the anti-Monar-chists, when the control of the situation by the new Cabinet will be assured at Pekin. Kwangtung is -quieter, and there is every reason to believe that the transition will be effected without a wholesale breakdown ,of the machinery of the Government.
