An aeroplane and seaplane attacked the German ships off Lowestoft, dropping heavy bombs, and four enemy subjnarinai were 'also attacked by bombs. One seaplane was under fire from the German fleet, but the pilot, although seriously, wounded, brought his machine safely back.
