A HOLIDAY EXCITEMENT. London, April 24. The air raid caused immense excitement. Holiday-makers at Dover flocked into streets in thousands, despite the regulations. Gun fire was the first intimation and a Taube .fas visible through glasses hurrying seaward. NO BOMBS DROPPED. Wellington, Yesterday. The Higfh Commissioner reports, under date London, April 24: Hostile aeroplanes appeared over Dover this morning from the east and circled over the town at a height estimated at 0000 feet. Anti-aircraft guns drove off the machines. No bombs were dropped.
