The funeral of the late J, P, K«n» nedy, of Opunake, which took plaoe at the Te Henui cemetery yeaterday, wa* largely attended by coastal settler* and others. The Parihaka Road Board, which was represented by the chairman (Mr. Jas. Young), and the majority at deceased's staff, forwarded a wreath. Fathers Cahill (Kaponga), and Kelly (New Plymouth) officiated at the grave, side, the former delivering an appro* priate and sympathetic address',. <
