Sir,—ln the light of the apparently approaching necessity for corjjpulsiotJ, it might be well for some of us to remember these words from the Book of Judges, spoken by Deborah tlie pr«phctess: 'Curse ye, Moroz, saitl) the angel of the Lord, curse ye bittwly the inhabitants thereof: because thej' came not to the help of the Lord, to th« help of the Lord against the mighty." The days were Old Testament days, butt the principle is eternally the same—tbose who will not actively oppose wickedness and unrighteousness are really giving a hand to the devil.—l am, etc., ECHO.
