HOLIDAY TRAFFIC RETURNS. New Plymouth was filled with holi-day-makers yesterday, and the 'tram traffic was the heaviest yet experienced, The attractions and the seaside brought many travellers in the ears, while there was a steady stream of people to and from the Breakwater during the day. The exact number of passengers carried on the trams was not available la»t night, but the revenue was £55 3s. The Easter traffic has been very good and the record established on Saturdaj wa» easily beaten yesterday. There was* considerable fall below' the average on Sunday, but this was due to tlic wet, weather.
