FIRES.
POST OFFICE AND STORE BURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association., Pahiatua, April 18. The Mangamutn Post Office and store near the- Pahiatua railway station, and its contents, were totally destroyed by fire last night, the cause being the upsetting of a tin of methylated spirits. The occupier for the past year was H. A. Thomson, and the owner was. Mrs. Stanton, of Motueka. The same building was destroyed two years ago.
