Tlie wheat and flour afloat is 3,535,000 bushels, for the Continent 3,875,000 bushels, Atlantic shipments 748,000 bushels, Pacific 15,000 bushels. The total to Kurope is 1,385,000 bushels, including Argentina IBS,OOO bushels, and Australasia 254,000 bushels. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE. N,Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hawera, report as follows: Our autumn cattle fair was held at Opunake on the 10th inst., and was well attended, and there was a fairly good demand for all classes. Over 1000 cattle were penned, all of which, with the exception of a few small pens ofsteek, changed hands at satisfactory prices. A nice line of 48 2i to 3§-year fat steers sold on account of Mr. A. Slater, Pihama, brought £l4 13s, fat cows £lO 4s to £ll, fat heifers £6 las to £8 7s Bd, fresh conditioned cows £8 17s 8d .to £9 12s, co.ws and calves £7 5s to (extra good) £l2 10s, forward cows £7. 18s to £8 12s Bd, store cows (good) £0 5s to £7 7s, otliers £4 10s to £5 17s, aged cows and boners £3 10s to £4 16s, forward heifers £5 7s to £0 2s, store heifers £3 15s to £4 4s, 2J-year heifers in calf £6 ss, IS-month do. £4 10s te £5, 18-month slew's £4 15s to £4 10s, 15-month do. £3 7s to £3 15s, weaner heifers (good) £1 10s to £2 2s, mixed weaners £2, weaner steers £?.
