Mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as follows: For Wellington and intermediate stations, daily at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate stations, daily, at 0.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.40 p.m. For Auckland and North, per Rirawa, Tuesday and Thursday, at 7 p.m. TUESDAY, APRIL 18, , Parcel mail for Expeditionary Forces! at 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY, APRAIL 19, For Chatham Islands, at 6.1 sa.ni, THURSDAY, AiPEIL 20. For Australian tSates, Ceylon. India, 1 China, Straits Settlements, Philippine Islands, South Africa, Aden, Suez, Expeditionary Force, Egypt, Meidterranean ports, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, at 0.15 a.m. (Correspondence for United Kingdom and continent of Europe must be speciall yaddressed) EASTER .HOLIDAYS, 1918. The following hours will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Department on Good Friday, April 21, «ud Easter Monday, April 24: GOOD FRIDAY. Good Friday is to ba observed as a Sunday. The Post Office will be closed In all branches. The Telegraph Office ,vill observe Sunday hours, namely: 9.30 to. 10 a.m. and 5 to 5.30 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will continue. open as usual. The private Box Lobby—Sunday hours will be observed. Mails.—All mails will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. The Railway Post Office will run as usual. Counter delivery.—A delivery of town letters wil be made over the post office counter on Thursday evening, from 8 to 9 p.m. The Money Order and Savings Bank will be closed from Thursday April 20 to Tuesday, April 25. EASTER MONDAY. The Post Office will oe open in all branches (except- M.O. and S.b.), from. 9 to 10 a.m. only. The Telegraph Office wtll be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. The Telephone Exchange will continue open ai usual. The Private Box Lobby .fill observe usual hours. The Railway Post Office ~'ill nn as usual.
