KRUPP'S NEWEST GUN.
quick-firing revolver gun. A special correspondent of the Dally. Express; who has paid a visit to Krupps', in referring to a new quick-firing revolver gun described to him by a, workman, says:—He told me that he would get sliot if anyone knew that he had spoken about them, as he was working in the shop where they were being manufactured. Still, as I was employed in the works, he did not see why he could not tell me some particulars of the new gun which was to enable liis comrades to break through the ring of trenches on the Yser, take Calais, and so strike at the "Oemeine Englander" ("Low Englishmen"). The calibre of the gun was 3.scm.—nearly I>/ S in. It could be fired at the rate of 850 rounds a minute, amd had a special cooling device, It would far outrange the machine-guns of the English. It could be carried by two men, and had no wheels, but was worked or a tripod. Nearly fifty of the guns were completed, and a further 200 would soon follow.
