■ I OUTPUT OF MUNITIONS. • GIGANTIC INCREASE. Times and Sydney Sun Services. Received April 10, 5.15 p.m. London, April 15. Mr. Warner Allen says, concerning the French munition production: Taking the figure one as t'hc normal output in August, 1914, the production of field guns and shells rose to fourteen by May, 1015; to twenty-nine by December, 1015; and to thirty and a-half by February, 1016. The output of all larger shells increased to fourty-four by February. 1010, the. production of heavy guns thirtythree times, and that of .field guns twenty-three times, greater t'han the first month. The Government powder factories doubled their output, and the output of other factories had been twenty-three times greater. A NEW GUN, ' Received April 16, 5.5 p.m. - Paris, April 15.
